What PurrSignal does

It gives you one more reason to pay attention to the litter box and your cat's normal pattern. If something looks different, add context: box visits, urine amount, effort, water, appetite, mood, and energy.

What PurrSignal does not do

PurrSignal is an observational aid. It is not a diagnostic test and does not diagnose, rule out, treat, or prevent urinary disease. A visual response does not replace veterinary evaluation.

Urgent signs come first

If your cat is straining, repeatedly attempting to urinate with little or no urine, unable to urinate, or appears severely distressed, seek urgent veterinary care. Do not wait for another litter observation.

For multi-cat homes

A shared litter box can make it hard to tell which cat produced an observation. Separate boxes and simple notes can make patterns easier to understand.
